A process for improving the organization – Appreciative Inquiry

Planning and implementation of the AI process until at least the realization of the first phase (Discovery)

Description

The Appreciative Inquiry (AI) approach makes it possible for the organization to have its members discover those positive values, resources and opportunities as a community, that  proved successful for the organization, and then to rely on these practices in a creative way. We offer the planning and implementation of the AI process by outside facilitators involving relevant members of the organization with various backgrounds. Realization of the first phase of the AI 4-D Cycle (Discovery), and perhaps follow up. Ideally, those members of the organization are involved in the planning and implementation who took part in the organization improvement training.

Parameters

Targeted organizations:Micro, small medium and large organizations in the private and public sector
Time:Process planning: 1 day with a core team, who have ideally been trained in AI; AI workshop 2-3 days with a large group of organizational stakeholders; finalization of results and integration in workplans: 2 expert days together with relevant staff members.
Participants:managers and staff from different organizational units/departments and different levels of the organization. the more diverse the composition of the group is, the better the process.
