Organizational development with Appreciative Inquiry

Ways to improve organizational functioning and mobilize creative energies for organizational development are discussed with decision makers. It is considered whether it is worthwhile to initiate an Appreciative Inquiry based organizational development process. The possible volume of such an investment is estimated.

Description

Decision makers get acquainted with Appreciative Inquiry and its methodology along with some illustrative cases. AI is a kind of change management focusing on the strengths of the organization, and thus improving the integrity of the organization. A methodology is introduced that can enhance organizational functioning by building on the resources inherent in the organization, this way mobilizing the creative energy lying dormant in the organization. It is considered whether it is worthwhile to initiate an Appreciative Inquirybased organizational development process. The possible volume of such an investment is estimated.

 

By the end of the workshop participants
